Originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, Lily Kathryn Myers is currently a BFA Studio Art and Watauga residential student at Appalachian State University. She is interested in all forms and prefers to explore a range of materials to become as well-rounded in the visual arts as possible. Lily Kathryn is most proud of her work in sculpture, along with charcoal and pastels. Her work often focuses on illustrating literature, whether written by herself or from existing books, stories and songs. Apart from her interest in art, Myers is pursuing a career as a pilot for International Airlines; her interests lie in travel and she hopes to capture the diversity and beauty of cultures around the world through her art.
